212 Makes Paris Motor Show Debut as MAVERO and X03 Launch Globally

Oct 20, 2026

Paris, October 20, 2026 -- On October 12, 2026, 212 Off-Road Vehicle made its debut at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, returning to the European stage with an expanded product lineup. At the event, the brand announced the global launch of its MAVERO - the first three-door model on its Cavalier Platform and the X03 – the first mid-to-large SUV built on its Xpedition Platform. The two launches showcase 212’s engineering expertise and growing portfolio of dedicated off-road vehicles, while supporting its expansion in Europe and other international markets.

As one of the world’s longest-running and most influential automotive exhibitions, the Paris Motor Show brings together major industry innovations and emerging technologies, providing an important platform for product showcases and international exchange. For 212, its first appearance at the show marks another step in the brand’s global strategy following its launch event in the Middle East. It also creates new opportunities to engage with customers and industry partners worldwide as the brand expands its presence in Europe.

Cavalier and Xpedition Platforms Broaden 212’s Off-Road Lineup

With its continued focus on off-road vehicles, 212 is building a diversified product portfolio around two core architectures: the Cavalier and Xpedition platforms. The Cavalier Platform uses a body-on-frame structure, five-link solid axles at both the front and rear, and part-time four-wheel drive. It supports both traditional and new energy, as well as three-door, five-door and pickup body styles, with a focus on capability and durability in demanding terrain. The Xpedition Platform is built around a purpose-designed off-road chassis, integrating a range of powertrain options with greater cabin comfort and intelligent technologies to support long-distance travel and a broader range of uses.

MAVERO, the first three-door model developed on the Cavalier Platform, makes its global market debut at the show. It features a short 2,570 mm wheelbase and a full ladder-frame chassis, together with low-range four-wheel drive, differential locking capability and dedicated off-road driving modes. These features are designed to improve traction, maneuverability and recovery capability on challenging terrain. Beyond its off-road capabilities, MAVERO also caters to an adventure-driven lifestyle, with a factory-removable roof, integrated mounting provisions for accessories and a flexible rear seating area that offer greater versatility for outdoor exploration and personal customization.

The X03, the first mid-to-large SUV based on the Xpedition Platform, combines off-road capability with the space, comfort and intelligent features needed for long-distance journeys. Its planned powertrain range includes both diesel and hybrid options. The model features a mechanical four-wheel-drive system and three differential locks, with a stated wading depth of 850 mm and gradeability of 100%, supporting performance across a wide range of driving conditions. Measuring over 5 meters in length, with a wheelbase approaching 3 meters, the X03 also features an asymmetric 70:30 split tailgate and intelligent vehicle interaction features, enhancing cabin practicality, long-distance comfort and versatility. The X03 is also being launched globally.

Strengthening European Operations and Building a Sustainable Global Business

As its international off-road portfolio expands, 212 is accelerating the development of localized operations in key markets, including Europe. Since IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich, the brand has continued to expand its European sales channels while strengthening aftersales services and supporting infrastructure. This year, 212 plans to establish its Spanish subsidiaryas a hub for regional operations and customer support. 212 also intends to advance the signing of a memorandum of understanding for a European knocked-down (KD) assembly project, laying the groundwork for local production and industrial cooperation.

Fedya Jia, Head of International Business at 212 Off-Road, said: “Europe is a core market in 212’s global strategy. We will stay focused on the needs of local customers, drawing on our partners’ market knowledge and distribution strengths to align product adaptation with stronger local operations. This approach will provide a solid foundation for the brand’s long-term development in Europe.”

Alongside its motor show showcase, 212 hosted an international owner gathering in Paris, welcoming drivers from China, Germany, and the Middle East to share their real-world journeys behind the wheel. The event reflected how 212 is evolving from an individual product into a shared cultural symbol—one where drivers from diverse backgrounds connect through a common passion for exploration, helping global audiences experience and embrace authentic Chinese off-road culture.

As China’s automotive industry expands internationally, supported by the country’s established automotive supply chain, global growth is evolving beyond vehicle exports toward a more integrated approach that brings together technology, products, distribution, aftersales services and brand communications. The next step is to build brand recognition and trust that resonate across markets and cultures.

For 212, global expansion means more than bringing vehicles to new countries. It means combining specialist off-road engineering, a comprehensive product portfolio and local operating capabilities to meet market-specific needs while building meaningful connections with customers. Looking ahead, 212 will continue to strengthen its international presence, with proven off-road capability as its foundation and cultural understanding as a driver of long-term growth. Its ambition is to become a distinctive expression of Eastern off-road culture, recognized and valued by drivers worldwide.

Wales, Australia, managing David Silva all part of Sha Tin coach’s rich tapestry

Tom Ballantyne was playing a pre-season friendly for Welsh club Monmouth Town when he “got clattered” and sustained a tibia plateau fracture. “I broke my knee joint, essentially,” Ballantyne said. “I never played again”. So began a life investment in coaching that would see Ballantyne stacking supermarket shelves overnight, then spending long days on the grass. He has been employed by Cardiff City and Aston Villa, and managed in three of Australia’s six states. The Englishman was the man Jim...
