TAMPA, Florida – Badger Bob’s Services, a trusted Florida provider of air conditioning, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair services, has opened a new location in Tampa, expanding its ability to serve homeowners throughout the Tampa Bay area following a period of rapid growth.
The expansion builds on Badger Bob’s deep roots in Sarasota, where the company has served Florida homeowners for more than 40 years and built its business around trusted service, long-term customer relationships and active involvement in the community. Badger Bob’s plans to bring that same local, community-focused approach to Tampa as it grows its team and service capabilities across the region.
A key contributor to the company’s recent growth has been increasing adoption of Comfort as a Service, a different approach to home comfort that provides qualifying homeowners with access to new heating and cooling equipment, water heaters, generators and water filtration systems for a predictable monthly payment, with ongoing maintenance and repairs included. The offering gives homeowners greater flexibility and peace of mind while creating the kind of long-term customer relationships that have helped Badger Bob’s grow.
“Badger Bob’s has built something special in Sarasota by being more than a company that simply provides home services,” said Rich Kesteloot, General Manager of Badger Bob’s Services. “We live here, work here and believe in supporting the community that has supported us for more than 40 years, whether that’s through local charities, community events or organizations making a difference in Sarasota. As we grow in Tampa, we’re excited to become part of the community and bring that same commitment with us.”
As Badger Bob’s expands its presence in Tampa Bay, the company plans to follow the same philosophy: hire locally, serve locally and find meaningful ways to support and participate in the Tampa community.
“Our growth gives us the opportunity to serve more homeowners, but we never want growth to come at the expense of what makes Badger Bob’s local,” Kesteloot said. “What worked in Sarasota wasn’t just providing great air conditioning, plumbing and electrical service. It was becoming part of the community. That’s what we want to build in Tampa.”
The new Badger Bob’s Tampa location is located at 7820 Causeway Blvd., Unit A, Tampa, FL 33619 and provides air conditioning repair and replacement, plumbing and electrical services in Tampa and throughout the surrounding Tampa Bay area.

Tom Ballantyne was playing a pre-season friendly for Welsh club Monmouth Town when he “got clattered” and sustained a tibia plateau fracture. “I broke my knee joint, essentially,” Ballantyne said. “I never played again”. So began a life investment in coaching that would see Ballantyne stacking supermarket shelves overnight, then spending long days on the grass. He has been employed by Cardiff City and Aston Villa, and managed in three of Australia’s six states. The Englishman was the man Jim...
