Hong Kong, October 22, 2026 -- Beady AI has rolled out a service that helps exchanges, DeFi protocols, wallet providers and other crypto businesses check the people and companies they deal with against sanctions, PEP, criminal, ownership and adverse media records, and keep checking them every day.

Beady AI, a risk intelligence platform from We Good Solutions Limited, now offers a screening and monitoring service built specifically for crypto and blockchain businesses. Exchanges, DeFi protocols, wallet providers, token issuers, custodians, crypto funds, payment providers and Web3 startups can use it to find out who is actually behind a user, a project or a counterparty before doing business with them.
Crypto companies are expected to follow KYC, KYB and anti-money laundering rules much like banks are. But they usually take on new users and partners at a much higher pace, often across several countries at once. Many compliance teams still search names by hand and run a single check at onboarding. That leaves a blind spot, because someone who passed a check months ago may have since been sanctioned or named in a news investigation.
With Beady, a compliance officer enters the name of a person, company or project. The platform then searches sanctions lists, politically exposed person (PEP) databases, criminal records, company ownership records and adverse media in one go. No documents are needed to run the check. Sanctions data covers the OFAC, EU, UN and UK HMT lists and is updated daily.
After the first check, the party can be placed under daily monitoring. Beady screens it again every day and sends an alert, usually within hours, if anything relevant changes, such as a new sanctions listing. Teams can receive a daily summary on Telegram and open the full report in the Beady portal.
For crypto projects, Beady also looks into the founders, team members and legal entities behind a token or protocol. Its ownership mapping follows beneficial owners through holding companies and intermediaries, which helps when a project’s real controllers are hidden behind layers of corporate structure. The platform also watches public social media and community channels for early warning signs. Findings can be compiled into a single report and shared with auditors, banking partners or an in-house compliance team.
Beady pulls from more than 100,000 public sources, along with ownership data on over 200 million companies and officers. Duplicate and false matches are filtered out automatically, cutting up to 95% of the noise analysts would otherwise have to review. Each result includes a link to the source it came from, so compliance teams can verify it and keep a clear record for auditors and regulators.
Beady does not analyze wallet addresses or on-chain transactions. Its focus is on identity and reputation, which means it is meant to sit alongside the blockchain analytics and Travel Rule tools many crypto firms already use, not replace them.
“A lot of the risk in crypto comes down to people. Who founded the project, who controls the company, who the counterparty really is,” said a spokesperson for Beady AI. “Compliance teams told us they were spending hours on manual searches and still worried about missing something after onboarding. We built this service so they can check a name in minutes and then get alerted if that picture changes later.”
Beady can be set up within 24 hours. Crypto and blockchain companies can find more details and request a demo on Beady’s crypto and blockchain screening page.

In one photo taken from just behind him, the poster claimed Fan was...
LeBron James said the Philadelphia 76ers still had plenty of room for improvement after launching their NBA season with an impressive opening night victory over the New York Knicks on Tuesday. James, 41, launched his quest for a fifth NBA championship with 14 points and seven assists in a 106-100 defeat of the reigning champions at Madison Square Garden. But despite an encouraging first win in a Philadelphia uniform, James was keeping his feet firmly on the ground. “It’s going to take some...

Twice a LIV tournament runner-up, and captain of the Southern Guards GC team, Oosthuizen is poised to return from a two-month injury lay-off in this week’s Link Hong Kong Open from Thursday. The bottom fell out of LIV this year when its Saudi Arabian backers turned off the money taps. Players have until Sunday to declare whether they would commit to a new iteration, after the...

Inigo Calderon has called on local football chiefs to join him in “trying to do my part” to grow the game in Hong Kong. The Spaniard’s easy-on-the-eye Kitchee team delivered “probably the most complete” performance of his 15-month reign to embarrass Lee Man 5-1 on Monday, leaving him to conclude that it was a good time to say his piece because “we won and I’m not making excuses”. Unhappy with kick-off times and routinely poor playing surfaces, head coach Calderon said a 6.30pm start had aided...
Gianni Infantino’s campaign for re-election as Fifa president is set to move this week to Japan and a meeting scheduled for Wednesday with the Asian Football Confederation. This comes after Infantino apologised last week in Zurich, Switzerland, to Fifa’s 37-member ruling council – which he chairs – for “mistakes” he made in assembling a now-scrapped US$4.2 billion sell-off plan for the World Cup. The council is the main decision-making body at Fifa with a global spread of officials. The planned...
