Brainsparker Launches Free Toolkit to Help Managers Lead AI With Confidence

Oct 13, 2026

Brainsparker launches new AI Leadership Starter Pack to help non-technical leaders have better AI conversations with their teams, without needing to be an AI expert.

London, United Kingdom (PRUnderground) October 13th, 2026

As organizations accelerate their investment in artificial intelligence, a growing leadership challenge is emerging: managers are being expected to guide AI adoption without necessarily having the expertise or practical tools to lead the conversation.

According to Gallup's August 2026 report, AI's Effect on Workplace Culture, 99% of 102 Chief Human Resources Officers (CHROs) surveyed said AI was somewhat or very important to their organization's strategy. Yet 50% said they were not very confident or not at all confident in their managers' ability to guide employees in using AI at work.

This disconnect highlights a critical leadership challenge. While organizations develop AI strategies and introduce new technologies, employees are adopting AI at different speeds, with varying levels of confidence, experience, and understanding. Much of this activity happens informally, making it difficult for managers to understand what's actually happening across their teams.

To help bridge this gap, Brainsparker® has launched the free AI Leadership Starter Pack, a practical, downloadable toolkit designed to help non-technical managers and team leaders confidently start meaningful AI conversations without needing to be AI experts.

The Hidden Barrier to AI Adoption

"There's enormous pressure on organizations to adopt AI, but the people expected to make it happen are often leaders who are still figuring it out themselves," said Gabriella Goddard, AI Leadership Director at Brainsparker.

"One of the biggest challenges we see in our AI leadership workshops is that managers don't always know how their teams are using AI, where people are struggling, or what opportunities they're missing.

"But you don't need to be an AI expert to lead that conversation. You already have the leadership skills to ask good questions, listen, coach, and bring people together. What you need is a practical structure to frame the conversation."

The AI Leadership Starter Pack provides that structure, helping leaders move beyond assumptions about AI adoption and develop a clearer picture of what's happening within their teams.

The free toolkit includes:

  1. ✓ Self and team assessments

  2. ✓ Six ready-to-use conversation cards

    1. ✓ A 20-minute team session plan

    2. ✓An AI Leadership Snapshot to capture next steps.

Moving Beyond AI Efficiency to Human Potential

At the heart of the Starter Pack is Brainsparker's proprietary AI Catalyst Lens™, a three-stage leadership framework designed to help teams explore AI through three questions:

  • ASSESS: Where are we now? Understand current AI experience, confidence, concerns, and capability gaps.

  • AUGMENT: Where can AI improve the work? Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce friction, and strengthen performance.

  • AMPLIFY: How can we create new value? Explore how AI can free up capacity, develop human capabilities, and unlock new opportunities for innovation.

The AI Leadership Starter Pack forms part of Brainsparker's wider AI Catalyst Leader™ learning ecosystem, which equips non-technical leaders, coaches, consultants, and HR professionals with the frameworks, tools, and capabilities to confidently guide AI adoption and amplify human potential.

This approach reflects Brainsparker's belief that successful AI adoption requires more than introducing technology or improving efficiency. It also requires leaders to consider how AI can enhance their people's capabilities.

"AI can help us work faster, but that's only part of the opportunity," Goddard added. "The bigger question is what we do with the time, energy, and capabilities AI helps create. Can we use that capacity to think more creatively, solve bigger problems, develop our people, and deliver greater value?

"That's what we call the Human Dividend of AI. And unlocking it starts with leaders creating the space for better conversations."

A Practical Starting Point for Non-Technical Leaders

Designed to be immediately usable, the AI Leadership Starter Pack helps managers begin with a focused 20-minute team conversation rather than waiting until they have all the answers.

It is also available to executive coaches, consultants, facilitators, HR, talent development professionals, learning and development specialists, and innovation and transformation champions who support teams navigating AI adoption.

The resource is not a technical AI training course. Instead, it draws on familiar leadership capabilities, including coaching, questioning, listening, reflection, and collaborative problem-solving, to help teams build a shared understanding of AI and its potential.

"AI adoption doesn't begin and end with technology," Goddard concluded. "It depends on people, and on the conversations leaders are willing and equipped to have. Our goal is to make it easier for every manager to take that first step with confidence."

The free AI Leadership Starter Pack is available now.

Brazilian Julio Mamute’s inspiring journey from obesity to conquering Great Wall of China

After losing more than 120kg (265lbs) naturally through swimming and exercise, Brazilian Julio Mamute has tackled marathon events across six countries over the past year, culminating a week ago on the steep stone steps of the Great Wall of China. Having once peaked at an immobilising 310kg, Mamute told the South China Morning Post that for him, running has never been about distance or medals, but about survival. “I run to save my life,” he said. “I run to live.” On Sunday afternoon, Mamute...

Mercedes’ George Russell remains optimistic despite challenging Formula One season

George Russell said one difficult Formula One season would not define his career and he still had plenty of time on his side. The Briton started the campaign as the favourite but has been eclipsed by 20-year-old Mercedes teammate Kimi Antonelli, who is set to clinch the title in Mexico City this weekend. “I’ve probably learned more about myself this ‌year than I would have liked, in all honesty,” Russell said on Thursday, acknowledging that Antonelli, who will be Italy’s first champion in 73...

Even UFC champ Zhang Weili under pressure to find boyfriend from pushy Chinese parents

Even Asia’s first UFC world champion, Zhang Weili, cannot escape the pressure of Chinese parents pushing her to get married. But in an interview posted on social media this week, Zhang revealed her parents grew deeply concerned about her love life during the first half of the year, saying they were “pushing really hard”. Onifa gunning for hat-trick of MoonTrekker titles, despite long-term back injury

John ‘Stingray’ Ray Onifa will tackle the Barclays MoonTrekker on Friday, but he said it was “much more difficult” to talk about navigating Hong Kong’s hills and valleys than actually doing it. And that’s despite the Philippine star, who is considered one of the best trail runners in Asia, carrying a long-term back injury that still leaves him “feeling the pain”. Onifa also has a perfect record to defend, having won the 50-kilometre race on his debut in 2018 and the 40km version five years...

In 2014, Chris Green spent two days dressed as Hulk Hogan in Hong Kong Stadium’s riotous South Stand cheering for friend Cameron Clark during the rugby sevens. The “awesome” experience gave Green a “very specific taste” of a city he has grown to “really love.” This year he is back to lead his country in the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes, a year after being in the side that reached the semi-finals. A modern-day gun for hire, the 33-year-old has played in virtually every franchise tournament going; from...
