Perfect Stones Nears Completion of $235,000 Natural Stone Project at Eight-Bedroom Estate Near Beaufort, SC

Oct 13, 2026

Perfect Stones is nearing completion of a $235,000 natural stone installation at an eight-bedroom estate near Beaufort, SC. The project includes approximately 5,000 square feet of exterior stonework and $99,000 in custom interior stone surfaces.

Summerville, United States, October 13, 2026 -- The Charleston stone fabricator is installing about 5,000 square feet of exterior natural stone and $99,000 in interior stonework at a private Lowcountry residence.

BEAUFORT, S.C., Oct. 7, 2026 — Perfect Stones, a Charleston stone fabrication and installation company with a showroom in Beaufort, is in the final stage of a natural stone project valued at about $235,000 at a private estate near Beaufort. The scope includes roughly 5,000 square feet of large-format natural stone installed outdoors and custom stone countertops inside the eight-bedroom house.

The property is one of only a handful of large plantation estates in its community, with the residence set on extensive grounds. The job is far outside the company's usual scale. Owner and CEO Iurii Pirogov puts a typical kitchen at 45 to 50 square feet of stone, which makes the exterior scope here about 100 times that area.

The exterior work accounts for $136,000 of the total. Crews are installing large-format natural stone pieces across the outdoor areas surrounding the residence. The stone is 3 centimeters thick, the same thickness Perfect Stones uses for countertops. The exterior installation is scheduled to take approximately six weeks.

Interior stonework is valued at $99,000. It covers the kitchen countertops and additional stone surfaces throughout the house. The countertop work is scheduled to take approximately three weeks, with the exterior and interior installations handled in separate phases.

Pirogov is managing the project the way he handles every complex job. He visits the site in person before templating and reviews the details with the client. Crews photograph the work at each stage for the company's project system, and the office calls the client the morning after an installation.

"On a complex job I go to the site myself," said Pirogov. "I walk the client through the details, and we agree on everything before the template is made."

Perfect Stones fabricates in its own shop and installs with its own crews, including tile installers, which allows one company to handle both the exterior paving and the interior countertops.

"Our client is never surprised," Pirogov said. "They know every plus and every minus before we cut the first slab."

Perfect Stones takes projects within roughly 90 miles of Charleston, including Beaufort and Bluffton. Kitchen countertops make up most of its work, and the company also builds outdoor kitchens and fireplace surrounds.

Brazilian Julio Mamute’s inspiring journey from obesity to conquering Great Wall of China

After losing more than 120kg (265lbs) naturally through swimming and exercise, Brazilian Julio Mamute has tackled marathon events across six countries over the past year, culminating a week ago on the steep stone steps of the Great Wall of China. Having once peaked at an immobilising 310kg, Mamute told the South China Morning Post that for him, running has never been about distance or medals, but about survival. “I run to save my life,” he said. “I run to live.” On Sunday afternoon, Mamute...

Mercedes’ George Russell remains optimistic despite challenging Formula One season

George Russell said one difficult Formula One season would not define his career and he still had plenty of time on his side. The Briton started the campaign as the favourite but has been eclipsed by 20-year-old Mercedes teammate Kimi Antonelli, who is set to clinch the title in Mexico City this weekend. “I’ve probably learned more about myself this ‌year than I would have liked, in all honesty,” Russell said on Thursday, acknowledging that Antonelli, who will be Italy’s first champion in 73...

Even UFC champ Zhang Weili under pressure to find boyfriend from pushy Chinese parents

Even Asia’s first UFC world champion, Zhang Weili, cannot escape the pressure of Chinese parents pushing her to get married. But in an interview posted on social media this week, Zhang revealed her parents grew deeply concerned about her love life during the first half of the year, saying they were “pushing really hard”. Onifa gunning for hat-trick of MoonTrekker titles, despite long-term back injury

John ‘Stingray’ Ray Onifa will tackle the Barclays MoonTrekker on Friday, but he said it was “much more difficult” to talk about navigating Hong Kong’s hills and valleys than actually doing it. And that’s despite the Philippine star, who is considered one of the best trail runners in Asia, carrying a long-term back injury that still leaves him “feeling the pain”. Onifa also has a perfect record to defend, having won the 50-kilometre race on his debut in 2018 and the 40km version five years...

Australia cricketer Green on Hulk Hogan, Jimmy Anderson, Wimbledon and Test match dreams

In 2014, Chris Green spent two days dressed as Hulk Hogan in Hong Kong Stadium’s riotous South Stand cheering for friend Cameron Clark during the rugby sevens. A modern-day gun for hire, the 33-year-old has played in virtually every franchise tournament going; from...
