Renew Integrative Health Publishes Updated Peptide Therapy Guide to Help Patients Understand Their Options

Oct 16, 2026

The Newark, Delaware clinic's patient guide explains how peptides differ in the research behind them and what patients should ask before starting treatment.

NEWARK, Del. - Oct. 16, 2026 - PRLog -- Renew Integrative Health, a functional medicine clinic in Newark, Delaware, today announced an updated peptide therapy guide for patients. The guide is written for people who keep seeing peptides promoted online and want a clear, honest explanation of what they are and how to think about them.

Peptides are short chains of amino acids, typically between 2 and 50 units long. Some have been used in medicine for many years and are well studied. Others are newer wellness options with far less human research behind them. The guide explains why knowing which group a peptide belongs to is the most important part of any decision.

It also walks readers through common side effects, the warning signs that call for emergency care, why quality and sourcing matter and what questions to bring to an appointment. The guide is educational and does not replace advice from a licensed provider.

"People come in having read a lot online, and much of it blurs the line between well-studied options and early-stage ones," says Andrea Dean, CRNP, nurse practitioner at Renew Integrative Health. "Our job is to explain where each option stands, what is known and what is not, and to make sure nobody starts anything without understanding the risks."

At Renew, the process starts before the first visit. Patients complete a medical history, diet log and symptom list through the patient portal and share the previous two years of medical testing. The visit includes a physical examination and an honest discussion of options. Follow-up visits allow the plan to be adjusted or stopped if it is not helping.

Renew offers in-person visits at its Newark clinic and virtual consultations. Patients can book a consultation or explore the clinic's other integrative services.

‘Passing down of the torch’ to young Asian Games winners bodes well for Hong Kong: John Lee

Hong Kong’s athletes were praised for producing “a beautiful harvest of medals” at this year’s Asian Games, and the success of the delegation’s younger members bode well for the future, the city’s leader said on Monday. A first tennis, a rugby sevens three-peat, combined with success on the water, in the pool, and on the squash court all led to a historic tally of 54 medals and a record number of gold over a fortnight in Japan. While the rise of the city’s younger athletes was in many ways a...

The 70th edition of the award, established by the magazine France Football, will be hosted in England for the first time in recognition of the first winner, Stanley Matthews, and fittingly could have a first English winner for 25 years. Total turnover rise pleases Jockey Club as host of Australian gallopers eye HKIR

A decline in local turnover might have given Jockey Club boss Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges cause for concern to start the season, but a surge in wagering on overseas races has helped boost total turnover to a healthy figure. After 13 of 88 local meetings, total turnover on local and overseas races was up 12.5 per cent on last year to HK$24.8 billion. In his CEO blog published on the Jockey Club website before Sunday’s Sha Tin meeting, Engelbrecht-Bresges said wagering on Hong Kong racing was...

David Hayes backs Bustling City to bounce back from shock $1.4 defeat last start

Bustling City was one of two shock beaten favourites for David Hayes on one weekend, but the Australian Hall of Fame trainer is adamant the horse he declared “could be the new dirt king in Hong Kong” will bounce back on Wednesday night. Adding to the pain of Ka Ying Rising’s narrow The Everest (1,200m) defeat at Randwick on October 17, Bustling City was sent off the $1.4 favourite the following day at Sha Tin but couldn’t back up his explosive seven-length victory on his seasonal return. After...

John Catlin basks in ‘truly special’ win as he joins greats on Hong Kong Open winners list

The list of Link Hong Kong Open winners has always read like an honour roll of golf’s great and good; on Sunday John Catlin added his name to that illustrious grouping and it might be that’s what finally broke through his steely exterior. Sitting with the trophy long after the crowds had gone home, Catlin read off the names of Greg Norman, Tom Watson, Rory McIlroy, Miguel Angel Jimenez and the rest, with the kind of dawning realisation that follows any major achievement. And while Tom McKibbin’s...
