BSL at SEMICON West 2026: Ultra-Clean Processes with Global Partners

Oct 17, 2026

Shanghai, China, October 17, 2026 -- SEMICON West 2026 opened on October 13 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. BSL (Baoshili), a provider of high-purity chemical consumables for the semiconductor industry, showcased its ultra-clean product portfolio at the event (South Hall, Booth 1564), joining companies from across the global semiconductor supply chain to explore new approaches in advanced manufacturing.

Organized by SEMI, SEMICON West is the world's premier semiconductor industry exhibition. The event focuses on key areas including artificial intelligence (AI), advanced packaging, smart manufacturing, supply chain resilience, and workforce development. Industry leaders, technology pioneers, and ecosystem partners from around the world have gathered to address industry challenges, accelerate innovation, and build strategic partnerships.

At the BSL booth, the company's technical specialists engaged in detailed discussions with supply chain representatives from leading semiconductor fabs and equipment manufacturers worldwide, focusing on lot-to-lot consistency in two critical performance metrics: metal ion leaching and particle release. An industry professional at the event commented, "As advanced process nodes become increasingly less tolerant of metallic impurities, contamination-controlled transfer and packaging of high-purity chemicals have become key factors affecting manufacturing yield".

BSL's ultra-clean product portfolio on display is specifically designed for critical applications in advanced manufacturing, including contamination-controlled transfer, storage, and transportation of high-purity chemicals, as well as cleaning and wiping of equipment and electronic devices.

Currently, the leaching concentration of each individual metal impurity from BSL's ultra-clean HDPE drums is maintained at or below 10 ppt (parts per trillion), meeting the packaging, storage, and transportation requirements for G5-grade high-purity chemicals. BSL also manufactures key accessories in-house, including liquid caps, dust caps, vented caps, and drum openers, while continuing to develop additional sizes and specifications within its HDPE product portfolio.

BSL's ultra-clean PFA tubing delivers performance on par with leading international products in two critical cleanliness metrics—metal ion leaching and particle release—and meets the stringent requirements for high-purity chemical delivery in semiconductor manufacturing.

The ultra-clean cleanroom wipe product line is designed for a wide range of wiping applications in advanced manufacturing, delivering greater cleaning efficiency through outstanding product performance.

These product capabilities reflect BSL's combined strengths in research and development, service, and other areas. BSL has long focused on controlling metal ion leaching and particle release. Its team has conducted in-depth research into the mechanisms of leaching and particle release in two core materials—high-purity PFA and high-purity HDPE—under prolonged exposure to high-purity chemicals. The company has achieved breakthroughs in key manufacturing processes, including polymer melt processing and precision extrusion, reducing the introduction of impurities at the manufacturing stage.

BSL has established a comprehensive global business and service network, with its products now integrated into the supply chains of leading semiconductor fabs and equipment manufacturers worldwide. The company also has cross-regional delivery and service capabilities.

AFC Champions League 2: Hong Kong’s Tai Po ‘cross a line’ but fail to tame Lion City Sailors

Streetwise Lion City Sailors condemned Tai Po to a 1-0 AFC Champions League 2 defeat at Mong Kok Stadium on Thursday, but victorious boss Mark Jackson accused the hosts of “crossing a line” in their attempts to ruffle the Singaporean team. A husk of the side that was unbeaten at home in last season’s competition, following a summer firesale, Tai Po nevertheless ran themselves into the ground in a vain attempt to recover from the blow of Matthias Phaeton’s strike shortly after half-time. While...

Frankie Lor sets Stormy Grove on path to Hong Kong Mile with Group Two Sha Tin Trophy test

Frankie Lor Fu-chuen is hoping last season’s Classic Cup winner Stormy Grove can pass his first test on the road to the Group One Hong Kong Mile when he tackles Monday’s Group Two Sha Tin Trophy (1,600m). The Toronado galloper soared from the back of the field to collect the second leg of last season’s Classic Series, before running a mighty race to finish third in the Hong Kong Derby (2,000m) behind Invincible Ibis. His season ended prematurely on his next start, however, as he bled from both...

Promising Chinese teen basketball player joins top US high school, sparking training debate

A top American high school snapping up a talented Chinese teen basketball player once deemed “too short” to represent the national team has sparked debate online about the country’s rigid training and selection criteria. Zhang Yuchen, who has drawn similarities to Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, left Guangzhou for Phoenix on Wednesday to join the CIA Bella Vista’s men’s basketball team. Winning both the Chipotle High School Basketball Nationals and the EYBL Scholastic titles last...

Sydney’s wet weather has Zac Purton more hopeful than confident in Ka Ying Rising

Persistent rain in Sydney has Zac Purton more hopeful than confident in Ka Ying Rising as the champion sprinter bids to defend his crown in the Group One The Everest (1,200m) at Randwick on Saturday. Purton is concerned about Ka Ying Rising’s ability to handle a wet track, with Randwick rated a heavy 8 on Thursday after heavy rain earlier in the week and more showers on Thursday. The world’s best racehorse has only raced on an official rain-affected track once in Hong Kong, winning the 2024...

ACL 2: Tai Po braced to face ex-England junior player on roll as coach in Far East

Mark Jackson was a good enough footballer to make 18 Premier League appearances for Leeds United; to play at Old Trafford, Goodison Park, Highbury and Anfield; and to keep the prolific Ian Wright off the scoresheet in an FA Cup victory over Arsenal. As a coach, he led Leeds’ under-18 and under-23 teams to league titles. None of that afforded Jackson a second crack at management in his native England, after his first chance with MK Dons lasted only 4½ months. Not for Jackson the mulligan that is...

Former Hong Kong Derby winner Massive Sovereign rolled back the years with a devastating turn of foot to win at Happy Valley on Wednesday night and has Frankie Lor Fu-chuen dreaming of Group One targets. A dual winner in Ireland pre-import, the No Nay Never galloper was a revelation in his opening local starts, using a Class Three success as a stepping stone to Derby glory when trained by Dennis Yip Chor-hong in 2024. Injuries have plagued the six-year-old since, however, and he had only run...

Regulator expects Man City to face January showdown over breaches of Premier League rules

The chair of English football’s independent regulator has said he expects Manchester City’s appeal after being found guilty of more than 100 breaches of Premier League financial rules to be heard by January. City, who have repeatedly maintained they are innocent of the charges, are currently top of the Premier League table with six wins out of six following their 3-0 win over Liverpool last weekend. No sanction has yet been announced, but City could face a heavy points deduction leading to...
