Do It Docks Launches Floating Docks for Lakes, Ponds, Rivers and Canals With a Free Buyer Guidance Program
Oct 30, 2026
Do It Docks pairs floating docks for lakes, ponds, rivers, and canals with free, personalized buyer guidance to help residential and commercial customers compare configurations, accessories, and site requirements.
Merrick, United States, October 30, 2026 -- Do It Docks, an online dock products retailer, is launching its floating dock offering for lakes, ponds, rivers, and canals, paired with a free buyer guidance program. Homeowners, construction companies, and commercial buyers can explore straight, T-shaped, platform, and other configurations, with help comparing options for their property and intended use.
The buyer guidance program is offered at no cost, with docks and accessories purchased separately. It draws on the nearly 20 years of dock-industry experience of owner Scott Moses, whose background includes dock design, bulkhead reconstruction, and boat lift projects. Buyers can ask questions, share project details, and get practical help narrowing down their options without pressure to buy.
Choosing a dock for the property
Choosing a dock involves more than selecting a shape or size. The team helps customers consider water depth, wave action, currents, and anchoring requirements alongside how they plan to use the dock. The aim is to explain the available options clearly and help buyers understand what to check before ordering. The company’s guiding principle is: “Sell you what you need, not what we have in stock.”
How the guidance works
Customers can share photographs, measurements, and a description of their goals with the Do It Docks team. The team then discusses layout options, sizing, materials, and compatible accessories, helping buyers narrow down their choices. Customers do not need a finished product list to start the conversation: they can describe what they want to accomplish and ask for help identifying suitable options and questions to resolve. For construction companies and commercial buyers, discussions can also cover project layouts, model details, accessory requirements, and current availability. When a standard package does not fit, customers can inquire about custom options and sourcing through the company’s vendor network.
Floating docks for lakes, ponds, rivers, and canals
The guidance covers projects on lakes, ponds, rivers, and canals, with product selection based on the conditions at each property. Buyers can discuss water depth, changing water levels, exposure to waves or boat wakes, currents, and anchoring requirements. For freshwater, saltwater, or brackish sites, discussions also include whether the selected model’s materials and hardware are suitable for that environment.
Customers can explore the floating dock collection on the company’s website and request help comparing configurations. Suitability depends on the specific dock and site; buyers should confirm manufacturer specifications, package contents, and any additional components required before ordering.
Accessories and planning resources
In addition to floating docks, Do It Docks offers guidance on accessories such as ladders, steps, bumpers, cleats, lighting, and mounting hardware. Customers adding accessories to an existing dock can share the brand or model, measurements, and photographs of attachment points to assess compatibility. Some accessory options require an inquiry to confirm pricing and availability. The Do It Docks blog includes articles on dock types, installation, maintenance, repair, and waterfront use.

For a country full of passionate racing fans, the 73-year wait for an Italian champ is puzzling. Over decades without a title contender to cheer, Italy’s legions of passionate “tifosi” fans have worn red to support Ferrari as a team, rather than individual Italian drivers. Now the 20-year-old Antonelli, reportedly rejected by Ferrari as a child...

The Shah of Iran, Venezuela and how Charlton, Eusebio, Puskas all got to 1986 World Cup
The Shah of Iran, a UK assassination, the Venezuelan petrodollar crisis and Colombia’s creaking infrastructure all indirectly led to Bobby Charlton, Eusebio and Ferenc Puskas glad-handing paying supporters outside stadiums at the 1986 World Cup in Mexico. “In their prime, our team would have beaten every side in that World Cup,” said Jaime Byrom, one of the individuals responsible for a sea change in sports hospitality since his first innovative step into the industry 40 years ago.
