After five short episodes covering subjects ranging from social stereotypes to Dostoevsky, creator Kenzy is preparing to bring new voices into the podcast's next season.
Switzerland, October 18, 2026 -- A curiosity about people and the stories behind familiar ideas is at the center of Kenzy Sanchez Talks, which is preparing for its second season. Creator Kenzy Sanchez plans to keep following topics that catch her interest, while bringing guests into the conversation.

There is no fixed subject from one episode to the next. One story might lead to a familiar stereotype, another to a Russian novelist's understanding of human nature. For Kenzy, what makes a subject interesting matters more than whether it fits into a particular category.
“There isn’t one specific topic I stick to,” said Kenzy Sanchez, creator of the Kenzy Sanchez Talks podcast. “I talk about whatever genuinely interests me: people, ideas, history, philosophy, and stories I think are worth knowing.”
Season one includes five episodes, each under ten minutes and rated clean. The subjects range from stereotypes about rich kids to an episode titled “The Lebanese and Nigerian Hidden Politics Nobody Talks About.” Kenzy has also discussed Russian novelist Fyodor Dostoevsky, whose writing examines psychology and human nature, and the story of blood diamonds and their connection to violence and conflict.
Kenzy started the podcast as a hobby, hoping to make complicated or overlooked subjects easier to understand. She creates and directs the episodes herself but does not present herself as an expert with all the answers. Instead, she approaches each topic with her own questions and an interest in sharing what she learns.
“I wanted to make these subjects easier to listen to. A lot of philosophy and history can sound way more complicated than it actually is, especially when it’s explained in a really academic way,” Kenzy said. “Sometimes you hear about something your whole life, but nobody ever really explains the full story behind it, and that’s kind of what I like doing with the podcast.”
For season two, Kenzy plans to introduce more voices. She wants to move beyond straightforward interviews and give guests space to talk about experiences, interests, and ideas that matter to them.
“I want to start bringing people onto the podcast, too,” Kenzy said. “Not just typical interviews, but actual conversations with interesting people about the things they know, have experienced, or genuinely care about.”
The addition of guests will give Kenzy an opportunity to explore familiar subjects from different perspectives, while continuing the informal approach that inspired the podcast in the first place.
Season two is expected to arrive soon. In the meantime, listeners can explore the first five episodes to get a feel for the show's mix of subjects and conversational style.
Kenzy Sanchez Talks can be found on Spotify, Rephonic, and Apple Podcasts. Listeners can follow the show for updates as the second season approaches.

Hong Kong will face both sides when they make their Rugby World Cup debut next year, playing hosts Australia in the...
New York have barely stopped celebrating their first NBA title in 53 years, and the Knicks are already chasing a repeat in a league that is built to stop one. The NBA has crowned a record eight different champions in the past eight seasons. Rules that make it tougher to stack a roster with superstars have turned the league into a free-for-all. The Knicks, however, have a big edge: the band is back together. New York return their five best players – Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, Mikal Bridges, OG...
Ka Ying Rising’s record winning streak came to an end in dramatic style in the world’s richest turf race on Saturday after the Hong Kong champion’s agonisingly close defeat in the Group One The Everest (1,200m) at Randwick. Bidding to win the A$20 million (HK$109.17 million) race for the second straight year, the David Hayes-trained galloper ran on strongly from midfield but fell half a neck short of Temped in second. Ka Ying Rising was caught wide from barrier 11 under Zac Purton and could not...

Golf’s Asian Tour has postponed the Saudi International indefinitely and cycling’s Urban World Championships have been cancelled following a deadly attack on Riyadh, although local organisers said next year’s Asian Cup football tournament remained on track. Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthi movement claimed responsibility for Saturday’s strike on Riyadh’s international airport that killed at least 12 people and wounded more than 300. The Urban Cycling World Championships had been scheduled for...
Hong Kong will host a World Fencing League event next year, bringing the sport’s best and brightest to the city for one day in April, sources have told the South China Morning Post. The brainchild of 2016 US Olympic team foil bronze medallist Miles Chamley-Watson, WFL staged its inaugural event in Los Angeles earlier this year, and featured the likes of Hong Kong’s Ryan Choi Chun-yin, who captained Team Shield. Sources said the league was being pencilled in for the penultimate week of April, a...
Chad Schofield rates Ka Ying Rising “probably one of the best we’ve ever seen”, but the former Hong Kong-based jockey is confident his The Everest mount Tempted has what it takes to beat the world’s best galloper at Randwick on Saturday. Hong Kong champion Ka Ying Rising chases a 22nd straight victory in the world’s richest turf race, but a rain-affected track and Tempted’s hot form has boosted Schofield’s confidence. Since running second to Ka Ying Rising in The Everest (1,200m) 12 months ago,...
The 0.1 second that stood between Yvette Kong Man-yi and qualifying for the 2012 Olympics was “unbearable”, the Hong Kong swimmer writes in her newly published memoir, The Unmeasured Human. It was, the 33-year-old recalls years later, “too small to feel and too large to survive unchanged”. Fourteen years on, Kong is grateful for the heartbreaking experience, telling the South China Morning Post that “challenge is fundamental to human growth and spirit”. “I needed to find the courage to try again...

The 10½-month championship features 13 race weekends, where 13 identical F50 catamarans – up to...

Streetwise Lion City Sailors condemned Tai Po to a 1-0 AFC Champions League 2 defeat at Mong Kok Stadium on Thursday, but victorious boss Mark Jackson accused the hosts of “crossing a line” in their attempts to ruffle the Singaporean team. A husk of the side that was unbeaten at home in last season’s competition, following a summer firesale, Tai Po nevertheless ran themselves into the ground in a vain attempt to recover from the blow of Matthias Phaeton’s strike shortly after half-time. While...
