KT Medical Staffing Highlights Senior Living Placement as a Family Advisory Service in Orange County
Oct 11, 2026
Newport Beach nursing company guides families through assisted living, memory care and residential care decisions, then helps manage the move
Fountain Valley, California, United States, October 11, 2026 -- KT Medical Staffing, a Newport Beach provider of concierge nursing and in-home care, is drawing attention to a service many Orange County families do not realize exists: senior living placement Orange County guidance delivered by the same clinical team that provides bedside care.
Families searching for assisted living, memory care, concierge nursing services or residential care homes often begin with online directories and lead forms, then find themselves fielding calls from communities they have never toured. KT Medical Staffing takes a different approach. A nurse-led advisor meets with the family, learns the care needs and budget, narrows the options, and tours communities alongside them.
"Most families come to us after they have already been overwhelmed by lists and phone calls," said Kelly Torok, RN, founder of KT Medical Staffing. "What they actually need is someone who understands the clinical picture, knows these communities firsthand, and can sit with them while they make one of the hardest decisions of their lives."
Torok founded KT Medical Staffing in 2021 after frontline ICU experience during the COVID-19 pandemic, which she has said revealed how much families needed advocacy alongside care. That advocacy role is what shapes the placement service today.
What the placement service includes
Working as an assisted living advisor Newport Beach families can meet in person, the KT Medical Staffing team supports the full transition rather than the introduction alone:
A care needs assessment conducted by a licensed nurse, covering mobility, medication management, memory changes and level-of-care requirements
A short, curated list of communities matched to those needs, location preferences and budget
Accompanied tours, with the advisor present to ask the clinical questions families may not think to ask
Coordination with trusted partners for home sales, estate sales and home clean-outs
Move-in support and follow-up once the resident is settled
Because the same organization also provides concierge nursing and in-home caregivers, families who are not yet ready for a move can explore staying at home as a genuine alternative rather than a delay tactic.
"Our job is not to move someone out of their home," Torok said. "It is to help a family see the whole picture clearly, whether that ends with more help at home or with the right community."
The placement service is available throughout Orange County, including Newport Beach, Irvine, Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach and surrounding communities.

Singapore Grand Prix: George Russell to go ‘all out’ as Kimi Antonelli nears Formula 1 title
Mercedes driver George Russell said he will need to throw everything he can at stopping, or even just delaying, Kimi Antonelli’s march to the Formula 1 title – but that will not be easy from the back of the grid at the Singapore Grand Prix. Russell, who won last year’s race in Singapore, was fastest in the only practice session on Friday. With the Marina Bay Street Circuit hosting a sprint this year on Saturday, drivers had just one practice session available – albeit in the daylight – to...

The off-court turmoil unfolded on Tuesday...

Haze not ‘a threat’ to Singapore Formula 1 race, but entertainment activities may be curbed
Motorsport’s governing body said transboundary haze from Indonesian fires, which pushed air pollution in Singapore into unhealthy levels on Thursday, did not “represent a threat” to this weekend’s Formula 1 race in the city state. Singapore’s air quality again crossed the threshold, making it one of the most polluted cities globally, according to the Swiss-based air monitor IQAir. “Air quality levels are being monitored by the relevant local authorities, and appropriate contingency measures are...

The LPGA Tour’s 2027 schedule features 33 tournaments, a record US$147 million in prize money and an itinerary that does not have players bouncing across the country. LPGA Commissioner Craig Kessler released the plan for next season on Wednesday and emphasised routing, quality of courses and prize money, and the schedule has ticked several of those boxes. Hong Kong appears on the calendar for the first time in 50 years, with the Futu Ladies World Championship in the first week of March ending a...
NBA star Kyrie Irving’s deeply held connection with China a case of ‘paying it forward’
No offence to Kyrie Irving’s Dallas Mavericks teammates or, for that matter, the Houston Rockets, but there is no question who will get the loudest cheers on Friday and Sunday in the NBA China Games. Nor is there any doubt which player will attract the most cameras and reporter questions during Thursday’s Mavericks-Rockets Media Day, which is projected to be covered by more than 400 journalists, most of them from China and other Asian countries. China’s love fest with Mavericks star guard...

Newly united Hong Kong aiming to overcome key absences on T20 World Cup mission
Deprived of the player he called “the future of Hong Kong cricket”, and also without one of the city’s greatest batsmen for the beginning of a winding 2028 T20 World Cup qualifying campaign this week, Kaushal Silva looked forward to a time when key absences were covered by oven-ready replacements from a growing talent pool.
