OpenAI, Anthropic and LangChain: VeilStrat Study Reveals What Companies Are Hiring For in 2026

Nov 4, 2026

VeilStrat's research examines 4,199 AI technology hiring mentions across 1,764 companies, tracking demand for OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain and other technologies. The findings reveal how hiring activity signals emerging technology investments, helping B2B sales teams identify potential customers and business opportunities.

San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose, CA, California, United States, November 4, 2026 /MarketersMEDIA/ -- VeilStrat, a B2B sales intelligence platform, has released findings from its 2026 AI technology hiring research, examining how businesses reference artificial intelligence tools and development frameworks in recruitment activity.

The study examined 4,199 technology mentions across 1,764 companies between August 11 and October 21, 2026, tracking 19 technologies. Among the tools examined were OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain and Pinecone, providing insight into the technical skills employers seek as they expand their AI development capabilities.

Unlike surveys based on executive expectations, VeilStrat's research draws on hiring activity to identify technologies appearing in job descriptions. These records offer a view of where companies may be directing their engineering resources.

Multiple AI Technologies Appear in Company Hiring Requirements

The research identified employers referencing several AI technologies rather than a single provider. Organizations including Capgemini, American Express and Equinix appeared in company-level records containing references to Anthropic, OpenAI and LangChain.

Other employers referenced combinations involving Pinecone, a vector database commonly associated with retrieval-based AI applications.

These findings suggest that some businesses are recruiting engineers with experience across multiple AI development tools. However, hiring references do not independently confirm that a technology has been deployed in production.

For vendors selling developer tools, cloud infrastructure and AI consulting services, these signals can help identify companies whose recruitment requirements indicate potential technology investment.

Using Hiring Signals to Identify Business Opportunities

VeilStrat combines AI hiring signals with startup funding intelligence, technology references and other company activity to help sales teams research prospective customers.

For example, a recently funded startup recruiting machine learning engineers may warrant closer examination by businesses selling development infrastructure or automation software.

Through its AI technology intelligence directory, VeilStrat allows users to explore companies associated with OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain and other technologies.

The platform also tracks hiring velocity, company funding announcements and sales trigger events, giving B2B sales teams additional context when evaluating accounts.

Research Methodology

The analysis covers observations collected in Q3 of 2026. Technology mentions were associated with company-level hiring records. Multiple technologies could appear for the same employer.

The findings represent VeilStrat's observed dataset rather than the entire global employment market. Technology mentions in recruitment materials indicate employer interest or requirements, not necessarily confirmed software adoption.

She said then she aimed to lose 25kg before pursuing marriage. “I also want to become beautiful. You will surely see a different version of me,” Gong said. AFC postpones Asian Cup in light of ‘exceptional circumstances’ in Saudi Arabia

The Asian Cup, initially scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia in early 2027, has been postponed until December next year following recent attacks on the kingdom, the Asian Football Confederation said on Tuesday. A strike on Riyadh’s international airport last month killed at least 12 people and ‌wounded more than 300, with Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthi movement claiming responsibility for the deadliest attack in Saudi Arabia in more than a decade. The attacks had raised questions over...

Hong Kong handball looking ahead with passion and optimism despite uncertain future

The answer to the question of just how far a group of athletes and coaches could go relying almost entirely on passion was perhaps found out there on the court at the Ma On Shan Sports Centre on Sunday. It was the fourth and final stage of the Chinese Men’s Handball Super League. On the final day, Hong Kong, taking part as an invited team, narrowly beat Anhui 29-28 in the play-off for third place to secure a podium finish on their national league debut. Head coach Hui Man-pong heaped praise on...

Venus Williams drops retirement hint after Hong Kong Tennis Open exit

Venus Williams has left the door open to quitting tennis after the American great slumped to a 17th consecutive singles loss on Monday, going down in straight sets to compatriot Mary Stoiana in the opening round of the Prudential Hong Kong Tennis Open. A shadow of the player who claimed 23 grand slam titles in her pomp, Williams dropped her serve four times and did not create one break point in a 6-2, 6-3 defeat by world No 113 Stoiana that ended her 2026 singles campaign. “I haven’t made any...

UK adventurer arrives home after epic 28-year trek across jungles and frozen sea

After 28 years, British adventurer Karl Bushby arrived back home on Monday after a 50,000km (31,000-mile) trek from Chile across four continents without using any transport to progress. Bushby, who set off on his odyssey from South America in 1998, had two golden rules for his journey: avoid all forms of transport to advance and not return until he completed his challenge. He was met on Monday in the centre of Hull, northeast England, by a crowd of up to 1,000 cheering people, and thanked...

AFC Champions League: Ronaldo rested as Al-Nassr head to Uzbekistan; security fears remain

Cristiano Ronaldo has been rested for Al-Nassr’s AFC Champions League trip to Uzbekistan, a week after the club’s previous game in the competition was postponed, and amid concern that the security situation in Saudi Arabia would continue to affect Asia’s top football tournaments. Ronaldo, who scored a hat-trick in a 5–3 win over Al-Kholood in the Saudi Pro League last week to reach 985 career goals, was left off the roster by coach Ange Postecoglou for Monday’s match against Pakhtakor in...

World Cup final heroics became ‘burden’ for star who wants West Indies in Hong Kong Sixes

Repeatedly launching the bowling of Ben Stokes into a steamy Indian night to win the 2016 T20 World Cup final grew to feel like a “burden and a curse” for Carlos Brathwaite. As the giant West Indian all-rounder sent a fourth successive delivery from the England star over the ropes, prompting scenes of jubilation and desolation in equal measure inside Kolkata’s Eden Gardens stadium, commentator Ian Bishop bellowed: “Carlos Brathwaite. Remember the name.” “That immortalised the moment,” Brathwaite...

New Formula 1 world champion Kimi Antonelli ‘not ‌going to be one-hit wonder’: Mercedes boss

Formula 1’s youngest champion Kimi Antonelli has nothing to prove and could be one of the greats, according to his Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff. The 20-year-old clinched the title in Mexico City on Sunday to also become the first Italian Formula 1 world champion in 73 years. Bodybuilding Arnold Schwarzenegger fan inspires Afghanistan’s Hong Kong Sixes triumph

A former bodybuilder who grew up in a Pakistani refugee camp and idolises Arnold Schwarzenegger has captained Afghanistan to victory in a cosmopolitan Hong Kong Cricket Sixes that “showcased this vibrant city to the world”. He was aided by the unheralded Imran Mir, who had mustered one run from his previous two innings in the tournament, but smote 53 from 14 balls in the final as the Afghans chased 116 to beat Australia by four wickets on Sunday and become the Sixes’ eighth different...
