To provide the best in dental technology, Smile Design Dentistry of Plymouth, MN partners with Benco for a new sterilization lab.

Plymouth, United States - March 8, 2019 /MarketersMedia/ —
A lot goes on behind the scenes in a dental office. Delivering long-term success smile after smile requires maintaining a top-notch sterilization lab. When it comes to 2D and 3D imaging, lasers, and sterilizers, Benco technology, and dental equipment are Smile Design Dentistry's partner of choice.
The goal of Plymouth MN Smile Design Dentistry's sterilization lab project was to not only update the dental practices and types of equipment but to create a centerpiece for the office. It is now an area that stands out to patients as they are coming through for appointments.
"Smile Design Dentistry has exceeded 5-star standards in sterilization! I have more than 3 decades in dental office design standards, with that I can assure you/their patients that Smile Design Dentistry is one of the best in all aspects of sterility assurance with their new Sterilization Showcase." - Sue Murphy, of Benco.
The doctors have a dedicated goal in all facets of dental care to provide the very best to the patients they see. This update replaced a lot of equipment to improve both the sterilization process and practices. Two Hydrims (basically a sterilization specific instrument washer) were added as well as an Autoclave (the piece of equipment that actually sterilizes instruments).
This replaced the former handpiece cleaning station and changed the flow of the sterilization area to aline better with CDC best practices. The remodel was designed to open up the wall so patients could better see the workings of the space, which included adding a large glass pane where they can see directly into the room.
Smile Design Dentistry started this project about 7 months prior to the remodel by visiting the Benco Showroom in Dallas, TX. Sue Murphy and Jaime Smith are inspiring when it comes to knowing about the latest and greatest in sterilization and office equipment.
Benco and Sue Murphy were an integral part in coordinating the design, equipment needs, sterilization protocols, and construction for the new space. Smile Design's doctors attribute Benco's diligent work as core to their success in realizing their vision of creating the office centerpiece . From the planning, implementation and follow up stages, Benco was a superb source of vital information and guidance.
"Patients have had an overwhelmingly positive response to the new space and update. Our staff is proud to show off the new area and patients take pride in seeing the investment we have made for their benefit," says Dr. Brett Moore DDS at Smile Design.
Sterilization is the cornerstone of what the doctors do on a daily basis at Smile Design. From preventing the spread of common germs to bloodborne pathogens, without a proper and cutting edge sterilization technique, it is not possible to safely deliver the same caliber of dental care. It requires a daily commitment; the true benefactors of a state-of-the-art sterilization lab are the dental patients served.
The procedures performed in this dental office vary widely from basic dental cleaning to orthodontics, to filings and crowns, and more invasive oral surgery. The dentists are able to quickly and effectively clean their instruments better than ever with the completion of this sterilization project.
Every day, Smile Design works to deliver a measurably better dental experience to each patient.

In the 67 years the Link Hong Kong Open has been in existence, the leaderboard has never featured two local players at the top – Matthew Cheung and Isaac Lam briefly changed that on Thursday. Out among the morning groups, the pair carded matching six-under-par 64s, a score South Korea’s Kim Mink-yu also posted, to sit one-stroke clear of a bunched chasing pack at Hong Kong Golf Club. The trio were later overhauled by Jazz Janewattananond and Poosit Supupramai, who shot 63s, while Anirban Lahiri...

Nagoya mayor Ichiro Hirosawa apologised on Wednesday for the latest error, which occurred despite officials’ pledges to implement steps to prevent...

His higher rating means options are becoming more...

Around six years ago, during one of his 105 visits to China, Steve Bellis was approached by a Scotsman at a British Council function. “He said, ‘Remind me to tell you my Stockport County story before I leave’,” Bellis said. “I said, ‘Hang on a minute, I do the Stockport County stories around here’.” The president of the high-flying League One club, which he first joined 37 years ago, Bellis does indeed boast an endless stream of tales about his beloved Stockport. The man from Glasgow’s was...
